Sumfest Set for Greatness

Thousands of reggae fanatics are preparing to touchdown in Montego Bay, Jamaica as Reggae Sumfest 2008 kicks off on Sunday, July 13. With a star-studded line-up that includes reggae legend Beres Hammond, dancehall giants Beenie Man and Elephant Man, hip-hop heavyweights Lil Wayne and T-Pain, and R&B songstress Keyshia Cole, this year’s undertaking promises to be one of the best ever in its 16-year run.

Patrons can enjoy the festivities as early as Sunday, July 13 when the official Sumfest Beach Party takes place in Mobay, but the real action gets underway from Thursday, July 17 to Saturday, July 19, when thousands of local and international fans will gather at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Center, from sunset to sunrise, to see the biggest acts in reggae and dancehall.
