T.C. and Capleton on the set of "Bounce"
with video director Rhona Fox, in Brooklyn, NY.
T.C. TEAMS UP WITH CAPLETON

Fusing the soul of Rhythm & Blues, with the gritty urban edge of hip-hop and the spicy island twang of reggae and dancehall, T.C. is Upliftment Record’s triple-threat. Born Othniel G. Davis in Brooklyn, New York to Jamaican parents, this 25-year old is armed and ready to storm the industry with crisp vocals and edgy lyrical delivery that distinguishes him from the run-of-the-mill pop singer.

A collaboration with reggae star Capleton, T.C.’s debut single “Bounce” captures his feisty vocal and lyrical nature, and has him bouncing between singing and rapping. Peppered with lines from Capleton, “Bounce” is an infectious anthem dedicated to the ladies with ample parts to shake up the dance floor. Working on a full-length album on the Upliftment imprint, T.C. describes his style as a fusion of Busta Rhymes, Mary J Blige, and Tupac - the perfect blend of hype, raw talent, and witty commentary.

The tune is currently enjoying radio play across Jamaica, and its catchy hook is leaving a mark on listeners. The video was shot in Brooklyn, NY with a cast of models and dancers, and saw a special appearance from Capleton. It was directed by Rhona Fox will be hitting airwaves next week.
